What happened to Finally?
On September 8, 2026, Backoffice.co, Inc., which operated under the brand "Finally," entered an organised wind-down. Inkle acquired Finally's bookkeeping division, and from September 9, 2026, Inkle owns the bookkeeping customer base, the team, the intellectual property, and the data. Your bookkeeping contract has transferred to Inkle, and all your work and data carry on, uninterrupted.
Is my bookkeeping still being handled?
Yes. Your service continues, exactly as before, the same team, the same books, without a gap.
Do I need to do anything right now?
Nothing right now. Your Inkle support contact is the same person you were already in touch with, and they'll reach out to you personally.
Will my pricing change?
No. Your pricing and plan stay the same.
Who's handling my books now?
The same team. The people who already handle your books have joined Inkle, so there's no change in who you work with.
What happens to my records and history?
Your ledger history and data come with you, nothing to rebuild. All of your data is now on Inkle's servers, held to among the highest security standards in the industry, with data security, confidentiality, and protection treated as a major priority.
What is actually changing?
On your credit card statements, you'll see the company name change from Backoffice.co, Inc. to Inkle, Inc. That's the main change. You'll also see improvements in service, technology, speed, and value over time, and you'll get an invite to the inkle.ai platform soon.
