What's due on October 15

Reports specified foreign financial assets above IRS thresholds. Filed as part of your Form 1040, separate from FBAR and often required alongside it.
Required if you held foreign financial accounts totaling more than $10,000 at any point during 2025. The October 15 extension is automatic.
